Python's application domains range from system administration, web site development, cell phone scripting, and education, to hardware testing, investment analysis, computer games, and spacecraft control.
In this course, best-selling Python author and trainer Mark Lutz provides students with the crucial head-start they need to use Python well. The class delivers an intensive, in-depth, and hands-on introduction to the Python language, as well as tools and techniques used in Python application domains. Through lectures and laboratory work, students learn the fundamentals of Python programming, and become proficient enough to apply the language for day to day tasks.
Our classes cover both the latest version of Python, as well as current best practice in Python programming. As of 2009 and later, our class covers both Python 2.X and 3.X, depending upon client needs and interests. In addition, each student receives the Python training CD-ROM. The CD includes all course materials in HTML format, as well as Python documentation and installation packages. Some clients also choose to make paper copies of the 300-page class workbook for students.
