File: pymailgui-products/unzipped/PyMailGui-PP4E/__pyedit-autosaves__/_README-autosaves.txt

This folder contains automatically-saved copies of the content of each
PyEdit top-level and component window that was changed and unsaved when
auto-save was run.

Auto-save is run every 5 minutes by default, and saves only the text of
PyEdit windows and components that have unsaved changes. It never rewrites
changed files in-place, but saves copies of their content here, as a
last-resort recovery option for crashes and operator mistakes.

This is a self-cleaning folder. During auto-saves, PyEdit automatically
deletes files here that have not been modified in the last 7 days by
default, to minimize clutter and space usage (this folder is meant for
emergency recovery, not long-term storage). This README file is never
automatically removed.

If you wish to change the name or location of this folder, modify the
timing paramaters of auto-saves or saved-file deletions, or disable
auto-saves or deletions altogether, change the auto-save-related settings
in file "textConfig.py" as desired. See that file for more details on
PyEdit auto-saves.
